Number one in a series of bi-weekly check-ins to see how solopreneur and therapy work is going…
What is going well, what's not going so well, and what I'm doing about it!
Borrowing my first check-in prompt from my actual therapy sessions...
How are you?
I’m OK apart from not being able to hear in my right ear! The lurgy/cold/flu/covid is going round and it caught me and my husband last week. One minute I was feeling great, out trick or treating with my daughter, the next I was unable to breathe through my nose and I had a very restless sleep! I’m on the mend now, nearly back to full breathing and hearing abilities! ha
What are your wins this month?
I enjoyed seeing my best friends from university, we visited Trentham Gardens and had a spa weekend. We celebrated 20 years of friendship! The food, company, and cocktails were excellent.
I decided to work with a Brand Messaging Strategist. The contract has been signed, and we are currently in the market research stage. I am looking forward to having clarity about how to communicate what I do and how it will be beneficial for potential clients. It feels easy to get lost in the sea, and frankly I needed a lifeboat. Stay tuned!
I received amazing feedback from a client, and it made my day:
I’ve realised you can’t put a price on recovery and the quality of therapy I received from Natasha. There are so many things that I have benefited from, but I would say the biggest take away for me is how Natasha helped me to be more compassionate and I've so much more self-love now than I have ever had.
What has not gone so well this month?
I’ve been keeping a low profile which isn’t ideal when you want to market your services. It can’t be helped though when you are unwell and I have felt supported to take the time I need recover.
Overwhelm’o’meter rating: 3/10 - everything feels manageable.
How are you going to approach next month?
November has started quietly, and it is likely to continue this way. I have deliberately made no plans outside of my hometown so I can stay local, keep everything manageable, and conserve some energy for December!
What are you looking forward to in November?
Working with my Brand Messaging Strategist and updating my website
Socialising with my mum friends
Spending time with my daughter
